A Casual Brunch Look

Every Sunday across the globe there's a brunch spree. Me personally, I've only been to brunch once. I do not brunch.

Here's why:

  • I'm not a morning person. I will literally miss job interviews if they are too early in the morning.
  • I'm not a breakfast eater. I'm trying to get more accustomed to eating breakfast, but it can be a tad bit heavy during brunch time.
  • Mimosas are the devil himself. I do not drink as heavily as used to, my body does react to alcohol very well. Mimosas are good, but I can live without them. They sit on top of your food that you just ate, and they definitely sneak up on you.
  • Sunday is chill day. I'd rather be in sweats on a Sunday, organizing my life for the week ahead. I also like to clean on Sundays.

But, if I must go to brunch I would keep it casual.

This trench jacket from Splice Club, which is my online clothing brand. It is a must-have. I loved that it was cropped. I have long heavy coats and I also don't really like to layer because I'm always hot. So, this jacket stole my heart because it can be worn by itself as a shirt. I can just throw it on and go. Of course, I had to pair it with my favorite pair of Levis jeans. I love them because they are high-waisted and they make my butt look big. Just being honest.

The accessories are what make this outfit unique.

I waited for this hat from Lack of Color to restock twice. I had to have it and I finally got my hands on it. It's the biggest hat that they sell. It's pretty much a dupe for the hat that Beyonce wore during her Lemonade spree. It can bring any outfit back to life.

Then, my shoes, my favorite shoes from Public Desire. These are the most unique, eye-catching pair of shoes I have in my closet. They are pretty comfortable and they are easy to dress up or down.
